Dredge’s mobile release has been delayed to February 27, 2025
The mobile and macOS versions of Dredge have been delayed to February 27, 2025, developer Black Salt Games has announced.
The New Zealand-based studio announced the news in a post on X yesterday (November 22nd), confirming that the game has been delayed to ensure it’s “as polished and enjoyable as possible”.
However, the indie dev quickly revealed that they’re launching a Closed Beta for the mobile version of Dredge from December 18th, which you can sign up for via a Google Form.
The mobile and macOS versions of the critically acclaimed Lovecraftian fishing sim, where you take control of a fisherman and explore an archipelago world while fishing and dredging up ancient secrets, were planned to be released on December 18th with pre-order and pre-registration available via the Apple App and Google Play Stores.
Supporting touch controls as well as traditional controllers, the game and its expansions – The Pale Reach and The Iron Rig sold as in-app purchases – will include customisable visual settings and automatic adaptive performance options on selected devices.
Dredge and its The Pale Reach and The Iron Rig expansions are available now on PC and consoles, and will launch on macOS and mobile devices on February 27th, 2025.
