New trailer for Crashlands 2 offers a look at its cosy life-sim gameplay
Developer Butterscotch Shenanigans has released a new trailer for its upcoming open-world action RPG Crashlands 2.
The game follows former intergalactic trucker Flux who, on his way to his grandmother’s surprise birthday, unexpectedly crashlands onto the planet of Woanope.
While Crashlands 2’s core gameplay loop sees you explore the planet of Woanope to collect materials, craft weapons, and fight aliens, you’re also free to just… relax through the game’s ‘Chill’ mode.
You can build a home for Flux and his friends with unique walls, doors, floors, and ceilings, and decorate your comfy house with a slew of decorating objects like tables, chairs, pots, and more.
There are locals to befriend and help, animals that can be found, named, and trained as pets, and everything else you can expect from a cosy game: fishing, farming, and bug catching, too.
For those who want some action or adventure, the additional ‘Challenge’ and ‘Adventure’ modes you can select from offer completely different experiences, with the opportunity to pick your preferred combat style between stealthy, highly skilled and fast, and spooky.
Crashlands 2 will launch on PC via Steam and on the Netflix mobile app in early 2025.
