Cosy life sim Time to Morp is leaving Steam Early Access next month, developer Team Halfbeard has announced.

Released in Early Access on Steam back in March 2024, Time to Morp is a co-op life sim where you play as an Intern on a space mission to find the source of an SOS signal on a mysterious planet. While there, you’re tasked with discovering the planet’s secrets, bonding with your crew, and learning about Morps, the collectable creatures that inhabit the planet and can help you.

Next month’s 1.0 update will implement a range of changes and improvements to the game, including a UI and visual overhaul featuring warmer and softer colours for a cosier feel, the ability to terraform, and the addition of world events, rare resources, and abandoned camps.

The 1.0 patch will also add the ability to fish and find rare chests, uncover cooking recipes and rare ingredients to create snacks for Morps, the opportunity to construct and decorate a personal home, upgradeable tools, city ranks with unique rewards, and shopping for resources, decor, abilities, and recipes.

Team Halfbeard has also confirmed a 1.1 update for Q2 2025, promising Morp hats, shiny new Morps, archives to showcase your collection, improved controller support, collectable stickers, new mushrooms, fence gates, additional customisation options, more world events, and improved vistas.

Time to Morp’s 1.0 update will launch on March 6th, 2025. Check out the trailer below:
