Spilled! is a cosy ocean-cleaning game launching this month
Spilled! is an upcoming cosy boat game about cleaning the ocean that is officially releasing at the end of the month.
The game tasks you with cleaning up oil spills across eight areas and four biomes, each larger in size than the previous, and recycling to earn coins that can be used to upgrade your boat, from installing a larger collector tank to catch more oil to increasing your speed for easier exploration.
While cleaning, you’ll have to find and rescue two animals in each area while also overcoming different challenges – get rid of plastic, wash oil from cliffsides, put out wildfires, go magnet fishing, and so much more.
Solo developer Lente, who lives on a boat herself, began development of the game back in 2022 and launched a Kickstarter campaign that raised €31,600 by early 2024. Spilled! will launch on Steam on March 26th at $6.99 and $0.10 per sale on Steam will be donated to WDC (Whale and Dolphin Conservation).
