Aloft gets new update adding small animals and unique islands

Cosy co-op sandbox game Aloft just got a brand-new update, adding cute creatures and new islands.
The game is set in a world of floating islands, where you can transform any island into a flying ship. You’ll need to discover islands, gather resources, build a home, and take care of animals either solo or with up to eight friends.
Launched into Steam Early Access in January, the brand-new Critters & Wonders update adds critters. Catch bees, butterflies, bats, frogs, and lizards throughout the world and add them to your home, caring for them and spoiling them with vivariums and habitats, as well as using bells to call them back to their enclosures.
Alongside dozens of bug fixes and optimisations, the update also adds two Wonder Islands, a sky island that offers unique rewards or discoveries. The two new islands can be explored to uncover rare treasures, mysterious ruins, and more, and developer Astrolabe has confirmed that more Wonder Islands will be added in the future.
Finally, the Critters & Wonders also add Shared Homes. When placing a Home Kite, you can create either a Personal or Shared Home, which allows all players within a multiplayer session to build, cooperate, and teleport to the home without requiring permission.
Astrolabe also confirmed in the Steam post announcing the Critters & Wonders update that Aloft will be part of the Steam Spring Sale from March 13th.
