New movie tycoon game The Executive gets February release date

Developer Aniki Games and Goblinz Publishing have announced a release date for their upcoming movie tycoon game, The Executive.

With the ability to relive the history of the Hollywood movie industry between the 70s and the present, you’ll have to create movies by selecting genres, themes, and target ratings.

Oversee all aspects of film production: write your screenplay, cast actors, decide how to spend your budget, build and manage franchises, and decide how to distribute your film.

Along the way, you’ll have to work on monetizing your back catalogue, growing your studio with larger offices and new talent, and making decisions on how to grow your business, all while facing the unexpected.

The Executive will launch on February 11th for PC via Steam and GOG and will be available for $14.99 with a 10% launch discount for two weeks.
