Nintendo Switch 2: Every cosy game confirmed so far

The Nintendo Switch 2 has finally been unveiled, and you’re all clamouring for game news. Although the initial announcement was light on game announcements, a specialised Nintendo Direct is coming in April likely with more details on exclusive and third-party games coming to the console.
Since the big news, numerous devs have taken to social media to confirm their game is coming to the new console. I’m rounding everything up as it’s announced, giving you an insight into which cosy games have been confirmed so far.
On Your Tail
A cosy detective game set in a gorgeous seaside town where you’re tasked with hunting down a thief while interacting with the town’s villagers, helping them, and collecting clues.
On Your Tail is set to release on Nintendo Switch in February 2025, but developer Memorable Games shared a post on X on the same day of the Switch 2 announcement, essentially confirming that the game will be launching on the successor console, too.
Ruffy and the Riverside
Ruffy and the Riverside is an upcoming action-platformer with Paper Mario aesthetics that follows Ruffy as they and several friends band together to stop the mischievous Groll from destroying the world.
Currently in development, Ruffy and the Riverside’s official X account announced that the game will be playable on both the original and successor Nintendo Switch consoles.
Sugardew Island
Sugardew Island is an upcoming farming sim where you’re tasked with running a shop while taking care of animals and fulfilling orders for the mysterious Harmony Tree to fill Sugardew Island with life again.
The game will release in March 2025 and developer rokaplay aims to port Sugardew Island to the Switch 2 “as soon as possible”.
Littlelands
Littlelands is a cosy adventure game that sends you out to explore a gorgeous world filled with quirky characters and creators, and fun activities like fishing, farming, bug catching, and treasure hunting.
There’s no release date announced so far, but developers Rafael Martin and Kyle Creamer hinted at a release on the Nintendo Switch 2 in a post on X, seen below.
Mario Kart
The Switch 2 announcement included a look at a brand-new Mario Kart game, as eagle-eyed fans spotted a new circuit, more racers, and revamped character designs.
My Time at Evershine
Caught by Polygon, My Time at Evershine is the upcoming instalment in the My Time series, following the events of My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock.
The Kickstarter page for the game reportedly claimed the RPG life-sim was in development for “next-gen Nintendo”, but it’s seemingly been edited to now include “if new Nintendo models are released in time for Evershine’s launch, we’ll aim to support them”.
If I’ve missed anything, please let me know so I can continue updating this as more games are confirmed.
